SIMPLE ACTS OF KINDNESS
Do you want your kindness story to be told? Inclusion Films and the Lodi Unified School District are now accepting student submissions for the best "Simple Acts of Kindness" story. If you are chosen, your story will be shown this fall on CBS Sacramento. All submissions are due October 1st, 2017.
Whether it’s inviting a lonely student to join your group in a basketball game, collecting food for the homeless, or granting a wish for a child in need, kindness makes a difference.
How to submit:
Come up with something that shows kindness, make a 30 second to 1 minute video on any electronic device explaining the idea, and email the video to firstname.lastname@example.org by October 1, 2017. Include your name and school. The idea can be from one person, a group, a class, etc. Be enthusiastic and creative as you “pitch” your idea to the judging committee.
All submissions will be judged by film making professionals and students who participated in Camp Kindness this summer. If your idea is one of the five selected, you will help direct, film and edit your message of kindness with Joey Travolta and his team from Inclusion Films.
If you have questions, please contact Lodi Career Connections 209-331-8095. Parent permission/release form is required to participate.
